Winter Challenge: Lunges and Overhead Press

The lunges and overhead press challenge runs from 1. January until and including 28. February, 2026.

You choose how many reps for each exercise you want to achieve and you can always adjust along the way.

We recommend the following reps:

  • Beginners: 2000 reps which is 34 reps per day
  • Intermediate: 4000 reps which is 68 reps per day
  • Advanced: 8000 reps which is 136 reps per day

The weight for each exercise is at your discretion and we recommend to start light and increase regularly.

The tracking is based off of the honor system and if you cheat, you are only cheating yourself!

Exercise Details

Lunges

The lunge has many variations and each is permitted under your discretion. The lunge is counted as a single count exercise. Optionally, you can add weight.

Overhead Press

The overhead press should ideally be done in a strict fashion. The weight and equipment is at your discretion, we recommend at least 1 kg of weight which would equate to 1 litre of water.
