Jerrycan

A jerrycan is a container either made out of plastic or metal. It’s purpose is to carry a variety of liquids. Some might have a release valve to ease the release of the liquids.

In the context GORUCK events it is used to carry the water for the participants. Either the GORUCK management team will provide them or the participants of the event will carry them around throughout the event.

GORUCK makes sandbags that have the shape of a jerrycan to practice carrying the weight while removing the strain of the liquid swashing back and forth.
