12 miler

A 12 miler is an event to ruck 12 miles or 19.3 km.

The goal is to achieve the distance within 3.5 hours which is considered the standard by GORUCK .

We recommend the following weight:

  • if body weight less than 150 lbs or 68 kg, then 20 lbs or 9 kg
  • if body weight more than 150 lbs or 68 kg, then 10 lbs or 4.5 kg

If one is starting off, one can also go slick which means without any additional weight or go with more weight.
